Case Study

Atlas Fintech

Atlas had all the data and confused users. We reordered it so numbers became decisions.

The problem

Atlas needed a hierarchy.

Twelve asset classes, four currencies, and real-time movement all needed to coexist above the fold without turning into a spreadsheet. Mandatory disclosures could not be hidden but could not dominate, and everything had to clear WCAG AA, including the red-green territory that finance interfaces lean on by habit.

What we did

One number, one trend, one action.

We rebuilt the information hierarchy from the ground up. Density is earned through progressive disclosure rather than assumed by default, and colour carries meaning only alongside shape and label. Alongside the interface we delivered a documented design system: sixty components, dark and light, fully tokenised.

What we learned

Accessibility sharpened the design.

Removing our reliance on colour alone forced a clearer visual hierarchy than we would have reached otherwise. Three engineering squads in two time zones now build from one source of truth, without us in the room.
